Consumer Price Index (CPI) - June 2014

In June 2014, the All Urban general Consumer Price index (CPI) increased by 1.4 percent on annual basis and decreased by 0.5 percent on monthly basis. The annual average rate between June 2014 and June 2013 is 3.4 percent.

Statistical YearBook 2013

The 2013 statistical yearbook is the fifth edition designed to serve as a compendium of statistical information dealing with a wide range of development pertinent topics. As such, this book is designed to serve as a standard summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic situation of Rwanda.

Second National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (2014 -2018)

NSDS2 has been developed through a highly participatory and consultative process involving the members of NSS, including private sector, national and sub-national institutions and development partners (public, non-public, national and international including civil society). This is the final document which  articulates the strategies for the development of the National Statistical System (NSS) in Rwanda for the period 2014/15 – 2018/19. It has been approved by the Cabinet of Rwanda on 10 September 2014 and has been officially launched on 26 November 2014

National Quality Assurance Framework

The quality management in National Statistical Offices typically takes the form of a quality assurance framework. Several issues have historically underscored the need for national statistical offices to systematically adopt quality management measures sooner rather than later and translate them into a formalized quality assurance framework. In this direction, the purpose of this document is to formulate a framework for quality assurance of the National Statistical System (NSS) of Rwanda with special reference to National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR).

Labour Statistics Metadata Handbook - 2014

The indicators in the Handbook are statistical and those required to describe and assess phenomena relevant to labour covering the population of persons, establishments and jobs or substantial subsets of them such as women, establishments in critical sectors and jobs in the formal sector. Other topic- or institution-specific indicators used for programme monitoring and evaluation or management of resources are not included, for example number of business development advisers with international certification.
