The winners of NISR Infographic Competition, 2014

On 26th November 2014, at Lemigo Hotel, a team called "IMPRESSIVE" which was composed of three students from the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Rwanda won first place at the 2014 edition of Infographic Competition hosted by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR). Each team member received a laptop.

Producer Price Index Report (Third Quarter 2014)

The general index for the third  quarter 2014 registered an increase of 0.65 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (second quarter 2014) and a decrease of  0.61 percent compared to the index of the third quarter of the year 2013.

The index for local products for the third quarter 2014 registered an increase of 0.40 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (second quarter 2014) and an increase of  0.16 percent compared to the index of the third quarter of the year 2013.

The 2014-15 Rwanda Demographic and Health Survey (RDHS5) is the fifth in a series of demographic and health surveys conducted in Rwanda as part of the global Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) Program, designed to provide up-to-date information on fertility and childhood;  mortality levels; fertility preferences;  use of family planning methods;   maternal and child health;     knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STI);   and  prevalence of HIV  among  the  adult  population.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) - October 2014

Rwanda's Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.5 percent on annual basis and increased by 0.6 percent on a monthly basis. The annual average rate between October 2014 and October 2013 is 2.2 percent.
