Foreign Private Capital 2023 - Survey Report
The FPC 2023 survey covered 384 enterprises, of which 329 responded, representing a response rate of 85.7 percent. The findings showed that FPC inflows increased by 21.1 percent, up to USD 658.3 million in 2022 from USD 543.8 million in 2021 reflecting a continuous recovery of domestic economic activities and improvement in business environment.
Consumer Price Index - March 2024
Urban CPI increased by 4.2 percent on annual basis (March 2024 compared to March 2023) and it increased by 1.1 percent on monthly basis (March 2024 to February 2024). The annual average inflation rate between March 2024 and March 2023 was 10.2 percent.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 4.2 percent year on year in March 2024 down from 4.9 percent in February 2024.
In March 2024, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’ increased by 2.5 percent on annual basis and it increased by 0.6 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 14.8 percent on annual basis and it increased by 6.2 percent on monthly basis.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 4.9 percent year on year in February 2024 down from 5 percent in January 2023.
In February 2024, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’ increased by 6.3 percent on annual basis and it increased by 3.7 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 8.1 percent on annual basis and it increased by 1.4 percent on monthly basis.

Rwanda Civil Registration and Vital Statitics (CRVS) systems
The comprehensive assessment of Rwanda CRVS is a direct response to the declaration of the Second Conference of African Ministers Responsible for Civil Registration in September 2012. The Conference urged all African countries to undertake in-depth assessment of the state of their national civil registration systems and develop a strategic and action plans for improving CRVS.
Compendium: Statistical Concepts and Definitions
This publication is a compilation of concepts and definitions in a move to guard against the inconsistencies in data production, reporting and interpretation. NISR, as the coordinator of the National Statistical System, therefore, took the initiative to produce the Compendium of Statistical Concepts and Definitions for Rwanda with the contribution of several Ministry's departments and agencies and Research Institutions.

Data curation at NISR

Stretching the traditional meaning and juxtaposing it with data life-cycle, ‘data curation’ as a process means, at least four things. It means to identify data (required to be curated). It means to preserve data. It means to provide context to data. And it means to make data easily discoverable and accessible.
User Satisfaction Survey Report - 2014/2015
The results of the 2014/15 User Satisfaction Survey suggest that users of official statistics in Rwanda are satisfied with the current statistical development in the country. For example, 88.9% confirm that their priority needs are met by the existing official statistics, while 87.8% can accomplish their duties and analyses using available official statistics.
Visa instruction manual (Version 2)
This is the second version of Visa Instruction manual. Besides its mandated role as the prime producer of official statistics in Rwanda, the National Institute of Statistics or Rwanda (NISR) is entrusted with the coordination responsibilities of the entire National Statistical System. This implies that NISR must keep track with any data collection endeavors undertaken in the country, with the aim of ensuring high quality statistics that will adequately serve their purposes.
Rwanda Metadata Handbook (EDPRS 2 and MDGs) - Second Edition
This handbook contains metadata sheets for 38 EDPRS2 and 43 MDGs indicators and has been divided into two parts: Part I consist of EDPRS2 indicators and Part II is related to MDGs indicators. The metadata for MDGs indicators have been reviewed putting into account the country settings. The classification of the indicators under each targets and goals in the handbook follows similar structure as of the EDPRS 2 and MDGs documents.
