Foreign Private Capital 2023 - Survey Report
The FPC 2023 survey covered 384 enterprises, of which 329 responded, representing a response rate of 85.7 percent. The findings showed that FPC inflows increased by 21.1 percent, up to USD 658.3 million in 2022 from USD 543.8 million in 2021 reflecting a continuous recovery of domestic economic activities and improvement in business environment.
Consumer Price Index - March 2024
Urban CPI increased by 4.2 percent on annual basis (March 2024 compared to March 2023) and it increased by 1.1 percent on monthly basis (March 2024 to February 2024). The annual average inflation rate between March 2024 and March 2023 was 10.2 percent.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 4.2 percent year on year in March 2024 down from 4.9 percent in February 2024.
In March 2024, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’ increased by 2.5 percent on annual basis and it increased by 0.6 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 14.8 percent on annual basis and it increased by 6.2 percent on monthly basis.

Rwanda’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), main gauge of inflation increased by 4.9 percent year on year in February 2024 down from 5 percent in January 2023.
In February 2024, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’ increased by 6.3 percent on annual basis and it increased by 3.7 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 8.1 percent on annual basis and it increased by 1.4 percent on monthly basis.
