The Urban CPI increased by 3.8 percent on annual basis and increased by 1.1 percent on a monthly basis. The annual average rate between September 2017 and September 2016 is 6.1 percent.
Labour Force Survey Report (August 2016)
The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) introduced the Labour Force Survey (LFS) program to avail statistics on employment and labour market in Rwanda on a continuous basis, providing bi-annual estimates of the main labour force aggregates. Labour statistics play an essential role in the efforts of the country to achieve decent work for all. These statistics are needed for the development of policies towards this goal and for assessing progress towards decent work.
GDP - National Accounts (Fiscal Year 2016/17)
In the fiscal year 2016-17, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Frw 7,125 billion, estimates calculated in 2014 prices show that GDP was 3.4 percent higher in real terms compared to the previous fiscal year. "Agriculture sector" grew by 3 percent, "Industry sector" increased by 2 percent and activities in "Services sector" increased by 5 percent.

In the second quarter of 2017, GDP at current market prices was estimated to be Frw 1,869 billion. Estimates calculated in 2014 prices show that GDP growth was 4 percent higher in real terms compared to the same quarter of 2016.

The Urban CPI increased by 3.2 percent on annual basis and increased by 0.2 percent on a monthly basis. The annual average rate between August 2017 and August 2016 is 6.3 percent.
Producer Price Index Report (Second Quarter 2017)
The general index for the second quarter 2017, registered an increase of 11.59 percent compared to the index of the second year of 2016, and a decrease of 0.04 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (first quarter 2017).

Formal external trade in Goods report (June 2017)
The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 68.96 million in June 2017, a decrease of 21.56 per cent when compared to the previous month of May. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit decreased by 33.44 per cent compared to the deficit of June 2016

The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 87.91 million in May 2017, an increase of 32.81per cent when compared to the previous month of April. Year-over-year, the formal trade in goods deficit decreased by 14.47 per centcompared to the deficit of May 2016.
