The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in July has risen 0.83% compared to last month. The annual inflation rate now stands at 8.25%, (July 2007 compared to July 2006).

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in August has risen 1.17% compared to last month. The annual inflation rate now stands at 8.35%, (August 2007 compared to August 2006).

The consumer price index (CPI) in September has risen 0.74% compared to last month. The annual inflation rate now stands at 8.04%, (September 2007 compared to September 2006).

The consumer price index (CPI) in October has risen 0.08% compared to last month. The annual inflation rate has shown a decline compared to last month’s annual rate of 8.04% as it now stands at 7.92%, (October 2007 compared to October 2006).

The consumer price index (CPI) in November has risen 0.19% compared to last month. The annual inflation rate has shown a rise compared to last month’s annual rate of 7.92% as it now stands at 8.67%, (November 2007 compared to November 2006).

In December 2007, the consumer price index decreased slightly with a monthly variation of 0.93. The annual change is +6.58% (December 2007 compared with December 2006), a fall compared to the rate of 7, 92% of the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 9.1%.

In January 2008, the consumer price index stands at 149.0 with an increase of 2.06% compared to the previous month. The annual change in consumer price index is 6.44% while it was 6.58 in December 2007. On annualaverage, the general inflation rate is 8.6%.

In February 2008, the general consumer prices index is established to 151.7 this stands for an increase of 1.84% over the previous month. The annual change rises up to 6.21% instead of 6.45% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 7.1% during the month of February 2008.

In March 2008, the general consumer prices index is established to 157.5 this stands for an increase of 3.67% over the previous month. The annual change rises up to 7.55% instead of 6.31% in the previous month. This gives a general inflation rate by an annual average of 7.8% during the month of March 2008.
