In September 2025, the formal sector industrial output increased by 8.2% compared to September 2024, while the annual average growth rate was 6.7%.
Activities performed as follows:
- Mining and quarrying increased by 9.2%.
- Manufacturing increased by 0.3%.
- Electricity increased by 9.6%.
- Water & waste management increased by 5.8%.
The output of manufacturing activities increased by 0.3%. The increase in manufacturing activities is due to a 36.0 % increase in manufacturing of non-metallic mineral products, and a 20.0% increase of furniture & other manufacturing.
