This section covers the economic situation in agriculture and environment and it presents the main economic and agricultural with environmental statistics at national level. Agricultural statistics are generated from the census of agriculture (which in some countries includes aquaculture and fisheries) and the agricultural surveys subsystem. In the agricultural year 2021/2022, the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) conducted the Seasonal Agriculture Survey (SAS) covering three agricultural seasons;
Seasonal Agricultural Survey (Season B, 2022)
NISR has conducted the Seasonal Agriculture Survey to provide more comprehensive data on the Rwandan agriculture sector. During 2022 Season B, the data collection activities started from 24th April to 30th June 2022, covering 1,200 segments and 331 large-scale farmers’ holdings across the country.
