The deficit in the balance of formal trade in goods was US$ 295 million in November 2025, an increase of 3.05 percent compared to the previous month of October 2025. Year-to-year, the formal trade in goods deficit increased by 13.43 percent on the deficit of November 2024.
Exports
In November 2025 domestic exports value decreased by 9.43 per cent compared to October 2025 and decreased by 50.18 per cent compared to November 2024.
Imports
In November 2025 imports value increased by 5.95 per cent compared to October 2025 and decreased by 10.17 per cent compared to November 2024.
Re-exports
In November 2025, re-export values have increased by 56.23 per cent compared to October 2025 and increased by 53.94 per cent compared to November 2024.
In November 2025, Rwanda's top fixe export trading partners are the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Egypt, China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Luxembourg. Others include Singapore, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the United States and Switzerland.
