The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) has developed PowerPoint presentations summarizing the key findings of the Seventh Integrated Household Living Conditions Survey (EICV7) for each district in the country. These district-level presentations provide a detailed overview of Rwanda’s socio-economic indicators, enabling local leaders, policymakers, development partners, and the public to make informed decisions based on reliable data.
Each presentation contains detailed information on poverty indicators, outlining levels of poverty at sector level. This allows stakeholders to assess how poverty has changed over time and identify which areas may require additional resources or targeted intervention.
Furthermore, the presentations highlight various demographic, socio-economic indicators, including employment status, education levels, access to water and electricity, sanitation facilities, and general living conditions. These indicators help reflect the quality of life in each district and provide a foundation for assessing development progress.
By disaggregating the data at the district level, NISR is promoting evidence-based decision making and planning at lower administrative levels.
