The National Institute of Statistics Rwanda (NISR) organizes the Workshop on Survey Quality Control and Data Management, from March 25th, 2024, in Kigali.

Led by esteemed expert Ramiro Flores Cruz, the workshop aims to empower participants with essential strategies for detecting and reducing various types of survey errors. Over the course of five days, attendees will delve into topics such as coverage error, nonresponse error, and the effects of interviewer behavior on measurement error.

The workshop, designed for personnel of National Statistical Offices, offers a unique opportunity for participants to enhance their survey quality control and data management capabilities. Through practical sessions and interactive discussions, attendees will gain insights into the Total Survey Error framework and learn practical techniques for error detection during fieldwork.

Despite the workshop having commenced yesterday, there is still an opportunity to join and benefit from this enriching experience. Participants will have the chance to explore guidelines for establishing a Comprehensive Survey Quality Control system and receive guidance tailored to their specific roles and responsibilities.

This is a invaluable opportunity to elevate their statistical practices and contribute to the improvement of data accuracy and reliability. It is a time of shaping the future of statistical methodologies in Rwanda and beyond.
