External Trade Statistics Report - Second Quarter 2011
Imports from EAC partner states increased by 31.8 percent from US$ 77.8 million in the second quarter 2010 to US$ 102.6 million in the second quarter 2011. Uganda and KENYA have the big shares of the RWANDA imports from EAC region for 46.6 and 28.5 percent respectively. This is to say that more than 75 percent of imports are from Uganda and Kenya.
External Trade Statistics Report - Third Quarter 2011
Exports to EAC Partner States increased by 65.7 per cent from US$ 9.88 million in the third quarter of 2010 to US$ 16.37 million in 2011 in the same quarter. The decrease from the second quarter level of 2011 is 17.1 per cent. KENYA was the main destination of RWANDA with the share of 84.8 per cent of the total exports to EAC region, followed by Burundi and Uganda for 9.3 and 5.1 per cent respectively.
Producer Price Index Report (First Quarter 2005)
The index for products manufactured for sale on the local market has maintained a steady upward trend. Compared to February 2005, the index for March 2005 recorded a slight increase of 0.3% whilst compared to March 2004 (104.0); prices for local sales were 12.3 % higher.
Producer Price Index Report(Second Quarter 2005)
At the end of June 2005, the Producer Price Index for products manufactured for sale on the local market stood at 117.3, following an increase of (+1.0%) in April and a decrease of (–0.1%) and (–0.5%) in May and June respectively.
Producer Price Index Report (Third Quarter 2005)
In September 2005 the index for products manufactured for sale on the local market stood at 117.9, following an increase of 1.0% in September and a decrease of 0.4% and 0.1% in July and August respectively.
Producer Price Index Report (Fourth Quarter 2005)
At the end of December 2005 the index for products manufactured for sale on the local market stood at 117.5, following a decrease of 0.3% in December and also a decrease of 0.3% and 0.1% registered in October and November respectively
Producer Price Index Report (First Quarter 2006)
At the end of March 2006 the index for products manufactured for sale on the local market stood at 119.6, following an increase of 0.1% in March and also an increase of 0.7% and 1.0% registered in January and February respectively.
Producer Price Index Report(Second Quarter 2006)
At the end of June 2006 the index for products manufactured for sale on the local market stood at 122.7, following an increase of 1.2% in April and also an increase of 1.4% in June while in May the index remained unchanged.
Producer Price Index Report(Third Quarter 2006)
At the end of September 2006 the index for products manufactured for sale on the local market stood at 120.8, following an increase of 0.2% in August while in July and September the index decreased by 1.2 and 0.6 respectively.
Producer Price Index Report(Fourth Quarter 2006)
On annual average the PPI-M reached at 121.6 in 2006, that is an increase of3.8% compared to the level reached in 2005 (117.1).
