In October 2024, ‘Food and non-alcoholic beverages’ decreased by 1 percent on annual basis and it increased by 3.7 percent on monthly basis. ‘Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels’ increased by 4.8 percent on annual basis and it increased by 0.8 percent on monthly basis. Transport increased by 15.9 percent on annual basis and it was stable on monthly basis.
Key findings: Labour Force Survey – Quarter 3, 2024
The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) has published the findings of the Labour Force Survey (LFS) for the third quarter (Q3) of 2024. Data collection was conducted in August 2024 through a household-based survey that provides key statistics into Rwanda’s labor market mainly on labour force participation, employment, unemployment, and underutilization.
