Rwanda’s Producer Price Index down 1.07 in Q1, 2016
The general index for the first quarter 2016 registered a decrease of 1.29 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (fourth quarter 2015) and a decrease of 1.07 percent compared to the index of the first quarter of the year 2015.
The index for local products for the first quarter 2016 registered a decrease of 0.07 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (fourth quarter 2015) and an increase of 3.28 percent compared to the index of the first quarter of the year 2015.
The index for exports for the first quarter 2016 registered a decrease of 8.52 percent compared to the index of the previous quarter (fourth quarter 2015) and a decrease of 12.23 percent compared to the index of the first quarter of the year 2015.
